A New Day Calls For New Crap... ^_^

Mornin' all...

After yesterday's posts, I realized something... The time's wrong! I tried to figured out how to fix it so it didn't say 12:00 when it should've said 4:00 but no prevail... So... I'll tell you what time it is! It is right now 11:10!

Wow that was a watse of space... I have GOT to get better at writing these... Let us bring out a topic, shall we!

I live all the way out in Nova Scotia, Canada and i'm a huge fan (along with some of my friends) of the Paranormal! Ghosts, Demons, Aliens, The works!! So, on google I searched for scary places in Nova Scotia and i found some results!

In a subdivision in kentville (i live here!!) one of the houses shows signs of poltergeist activity! Lights flicker, doors open and close, etc. A family quickly moved out when these occurences soon escalated to plates smashing and the sound of a young child crying or moaning!

In Coldbrook (the next town over!) At the Evergreens old folks home, alarms will go off at random, and radios and light will seem to have a mind of their own!! My aunt worked there for a while so i'll have to ask her about it next time i get the chance...

And in wolfville (real close also!) at Acadia University, there was an old womens' seminary which is now a residence hall, there, a girl hung herself when she discovered that she was pregnant! She still haunts the building!

My friends and I need to get together and check out these places soon!

Movie Review - The Happening

The happening

I saw the Happening with two of my friends (mainly because i wouldn't shut up about it lol) this summer a month or so back before school ended and it was pretty cool.

Plot: Due to a mysterious cause, supposedly a bioterrorist attack, people affected kill themselves! In the movie, this epidemic starts in New York at central park and begins to spread outward toward the rest of the northeastern states. The storyline has a good element with everyone killing themselves, but the exact cause is never explained. And, as a movie by M. Night Shyamalan, I was honestly expecting a crappy plot twist near the end... but the ending is actually pretty good (laughs).

Characters: There were no unrealistic elements among the characters luckly (Unlike Resident Evil and they're character Alice... omg). Everyone is believable! YAY!!

Epic scenes: Everyone loves epic scenes, the most memorable scenes in the movie! For example, everyone whose seen the lion king will remember the part when mufasa died, when simba lived in the jugle with timon and pumba, those are what i call "Epic Scenes", scenes that set the motion for the rest of the movie and stick in your mind forever. This movie thankfully has plenty of worthy epic scenes. Especially with the old lady near the climax... but I'm not saying anymore than that!

My Rating: I give this movie a 7.7 out of 10 for it's suspensful musical score, it's shocking moments and it's clever, yet baffling plot design. Good to have on the DVD shelf.

My First Blog Post

Hey there! Welcome to Fort Coffee Info... and, no it's not all about coffee... that'd be stupid... (and incase someone out there found this site researching coffee... i apologize for watsing your time...)

Anyway, onto business. My name is Itaika Nami. You can call me Itaika or Fort Coffee Battleship, for that is my title... ^_^ My associates, Gabriel and Lero are Fort Coffee Torpedo and Fighter Jet. We are part of the Fort Coffee Attack Force!! (F.C.A.F. for short but no one's gonna call it that... -.-)

Boy... I've typed a bit, but it still seems short... now what else could i add... hmm...

Perhaps some extra crap...

NOW LISTEN UP Y'ALL!!! This blog WILL be mainly about live, my views on media and pop culture, and ANIME/MANGA/JAPAN!!! If any of you uncultured buffoons has anything against japan/anime/manga... just remember that your dealing with the Battleship here! (Not that everyone isn't entitled to their own opinion, it's just... you don't always have to tell me your opinion... especially if it's negative... That means I hate flamers... i liked peaceful comments and only reasoned arguements... no hatefilled comments in my blog, no no!)

well, this has provoded to possibly have been the most pointless blog post ever... I'll do better, I promise... (heheh)
